Domestication
Taming
Goats can be tamed with Goat Food Bait. They require one succesful taming attempt (1 heart) to tame. After being brought to your base they require shelter, a Farm Animal Pillow and a Goat Feeder with Goat Food. You can craft these at the Farmer NPC.
Breeding
- Once you have 2 adult goats, make sure you have an extra bed. This will allow your 2 adult goats to produce offspring.
- To "upgrade" the goat to adult, approach it and press E. Make sure you have enough food and beds for each goat to keep them happy.
Behavior
- Hostile creatures will target and attack goats if one wanders close enough to them.
- Goats will turn and flee if the player or any hostile creature is close enough and within line of sight.
- Goats have an elemental weakness to fire damage.

Produce
Goats can produce up to four Milk when fed. They will also produce Milk when unfed, but at a much slower rate. They won’t produce more Milk beyond this limit until some is collected.
