Survivors

Survivors are non-player characters (NPCs) in Enshrouded that assist the player in various aspects of survival and progression. Each Survivor must first be rescued from a specific location in Embervale, after which they can be summoned to the player's Base using the Summoning Staff. Once placed, Survivors offer access to a range of specialized functions, including the crafting of Armor, Weapons, Consumables, and Decorations, as well as options to alter the player's Appearance. Additionally, certain Survivors may provide Quests that unlock further Crafting Workshops or Cosmetic Items.

There are three types of Survivors: Craftspeople, Assistants, and Villagers.

Craftspeople

Craftspeople are essential NPCs who serve as the primary source for crafting high-end Armor, Consumables, and Decorations. In addition to their crafting roles, Craftspeople also provide key Quests that advance the main storyline or unlock new gameplay features.

The Blacksmith crafts melee armors and weapons.	The Alchemist crafts magic armors and brews potions and other concoctions.	The Carpenter crafts anything with wood. Assistants

Assistants to the Craftspeople are NPCs that function as additional instances of existing Craftspeople, allowing players to access duplicate crafting capabilities in a second location. Assistants are capable of crafting the same items as their primary counterparts, including Weapons, Armor, Consumables, and Decorations. In addition to their crafting role, some Assistants may offer Side Quests that reward players with new items or cosmetics.
