Seedlings

Seedlings are growable versions of mature plants you find in the wild. Recipes may be unlocked by harvesting crops in the wild, and then crafted at the Seedbed. The Farmer must be unlocked to unlock recipes at the Seedbed.

Water is needed for seedlings to be grown, and can be gathered from wells in the world, or from Water Well and Improved Water Well placed inside of your base. After you finish crafting the Seedling, you can then plant it in Dirt, Sand, Farm Soil, Flower Soil or Fertilised Farm Soil to grow the plants or trees.

The Watering Can can be used to view detailed information about planted seedlings and artifically limit their growth, but it is not required for the seedlings to grow and does not speed up their growth.
