Fell Banshee
Fell Banshees are a moderately powerful Fell encountered in the Shroud in many biomes of Embervale.
Banshees can be found at various points of interest in the Shroud: Elixir Wells, ruined villages, and Shroud Lairs are all common Banshee territories. They patrol their areas by gliding through the air and attack intruders with Fell magicks.
Attacks
In combat, Banshees launch two magic bolts which deal Shroud damage on contact. These bolts travel quickly and are able to home-in on players should they run. It is suggested to use terrain, walls, or debris to take cover from the bolts before they land.
Banshees are easiest to deal with using ranged or magic weapons. Players using melee will find them difficult, as they can frequently float out of reach.
A good trick for dealing with individual Banshees is to stay decently close and dodge forward when they cast. This will cause the magic bolts to impact harmlessly on the ground behind you.
Drops
One of their drops, Aerated Banshee Gel, is used at the Alchemist to craft several magic armors and spells, and so is quite useful for players specializing in magic.
