General

Movement

Run	⇧ Left Shift	Press Template:Xbox	Press Template:Ps4	When used while moving forward, will cause you to increase forward movement speed at the cost of increased stamina use, and over-rides 'Toggle Run' to on. A character may only run forwards; strafing and backpedaling speed will remain constant.
Toggle Run	⇧ Right Shift	Press Template:Xbox	Press Template:Ps4	Will toggle whether run is on or off (I.E., whether you run or walk) upon input of 'Move Forward'. Can be used while standing still.
Jump	Space	Template:Xbox	Template:Ps4	Causes a character to jump up while stationary, and jump directionally when moving. also to ascend to surface when diving.
Crouch	C	Press Template:Xbox	Press Template:Ps4	Also used to descend while diving.
Combat
Attack	Error creating thumbnail: File missing	Template:Xbox	Template:Ps4	Will cause the primary attack with a weapon or tool, such as shooting a projectile weapon or swinging a melee weapon.
Aim Weapon	Error creating thumbnail: File missing	Template:Xbox	Template:Ps4	Will bring up the sights of a weapon, uses the alternate action of the object if one exists (such as the Grappling Hook un-spooling), or otherwise does nothing.
Camera

Actions

Use	E	Template:Xbox	Template:Ps4	Activates the default action of an object, such as opening a door, climbing a ladder, or opening a storage box's inventory.
Use Hotbar Slot Item	0 - 9	Template:Xbox, Template:Xbox/Template:Xbox/Template:Xbox/Template:Xbox/Template:Xbox/Template:Xbox OR HoldTemplate:Xbox + Template:Xbox to '12'* through '9'*	Template:Ps4, Template:Ps4 + Template:Ps4/Template:Ps4/Template:Ps4/Template:Ps4 Template:Ps4/Template:Ps4 OR Hold Template:Ps4 + Template:Ps4 to '12'* through '9'*	Uses item in the corresponding slot of your hotbar.
Open Map	M	Template:XboxOR HoldTemplate:Xbox + Template:Xbox to '10'*	Template:Ps4 OR Hold Template:Ps4 + Template:Ps4 to '10'*	Opens the character's in-game map.
Map Marker	P	Press Template:Xbox	Press Template:Ps4	While viewing the map, places a marker pin at a specified latitude and longitude. Also has a tab to remove markers.
Item Menu	?	Hold Template:Xbox	Hold Template:Ps4	Opens the character's item selection radial wheel (Xbox/PS4).

While in Inventory

PC Note: The following keys are not customizable, except for "Toggle to Craftables" and "Drop Item".

Transfer Stack	T	Hold Template:Xbox	Hold Template:Ps4	The stack you hover over is transferred from one inventory currently being accessed to the other.
Transfer Half-Stack	⇧ Shift+T	Press Template:Xbox , then Hold Template:Xbox	Press Template:Ps4 , then Hold Template:Ps4	Half of the stack you hover over is transferred from one inventory currently being accessed to the other.
Transfer Half-Stack	Ctrl+ Error creating thumbnail: File missing ×2	None		Half of the stack you double click is transferred from one inventory currently being accessed to the other.

Unequip item	Ctrl + 0-9		Template:Ps4 to the hotbar, then Template:Ps4 x 2	Unequip item from the selected slot of your hotbar

Building

Flip direction	E	Template:Xbox	Template:Ps4	Flips the direction of a structure before placing.
Snap point cycle	Q or Z when placing an object	Template:Xbox	Template:Ps4	Find the correct snap point when placing walls, floors, ceilings, fences, and other objects.

*Xbox Note: This refers to the corresponding 'o'clock' position on an analog clock, compared to the radial wheel, where '12' is up, '3' is right, '6' is down, and '9' is left.
