Enshrouded Wiki:Staff

The Enshrouded Wiki has a team of staff members who are here to help you on different parts of our community. Below are details on our Wiki Administrators and Discord Team (Discord Admins and Mods).

Wiki Administrators

Administrators, also known as System Operators (Sysops for short), are users who have proved themselves to be a very reliable editor of the wiki and have worked their way up to become an administrator. They are usually the most reliable members of the community and can be contacted with queries. They have the power to delete pages and block users. The purpose of an administrator is to keep peace on the wiki and to keep vandalism at bay.

Administrators can also edit the pages that make up the wiki, such as the main page, sidebar, site notices, MediaWiki pages, and design pages (e.g. JS and CSS pages).

Bots

Bots are alternate accounts of regular editors, that can be used to perform repetitive edits across several pages automatically. When tracking wiki activity via Special:RecentChanges, edits by bot accounts will only appear with the Human (not bot) filter disabled. This prevents cluttering of the special page when viewed in default settings.

Discord Team: Discord Administrators & Mods

Discord Administrators lead the Chat Mod team. When reporting an issue on our Discord server, Discord mods are the first person you should contact. If they can’t help, our Discord Admins will be in touch with you. They are also responsible for changes to our Discord server. Our Discord Mod team keeps order on our Discord, enforcing the rules and making sure our users are happy. Contact them if you have any problems or questions on our Discord.

Who To Contact

Wiki Admins monitor Discord at their own discretion. Therefore, it is best to contact dedicated people for issues instead of wiki Admins. For example, if there is vandalism or spam on the wiki, contact a member of the Wiki Team. But you should not contact a member of the Wiki Team for harassment taking place in the Discord, contact a member of the Discord Team instead.
