Capybara can be tamed with Capybara Food Bait. They require three succesful taming attempts (3 hearts) to tame. After being brought to your base they require shelter, a Farm Animal Pillow and a Capybara Feeder with Capybara Food.
If kept happy it will produce Capybara Bristles, which can be used to create armors to prevent the Wet debuff duration.

Capybara can produce up to ten Capybara Bristles when fed. They will also produce Capybara Bristles when unfed, but at a much slower rate. They won’t produce more Capybara Bristles beyond this limit until some is collected.
